About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from US to Hong Kong then Shanghai.

My boyfriend and I are going to Hong Kong for 4 days, he for work and me for tourism. Then we are flying to Shanghai for 3 additional days as tourists. Do we need separate visas for Hong Kong and Shanghai? The total number of days in both Hong Kong and Shanghai is 8.

Thank you, Katrina

Katrina, you don't need visa for both HK and Shanghai if you travel like US-Hong Kong-Shanghai-US. Nice trip!
