My family (husband and 2 sons in their mid to late 20s) and I will be traveling to China for the first time to visit my daughter who is studying there for one year in the university from 12/23-1/14. Please recommend family events we could do, clothing, weather, tours, and hotels vs air b&b.

So you are suggested to take you sweaters, heave coats and gloves.Tours: You can pay a visit to those famous attractions like Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Palace of Museum, Summer Palace and National Stadium. Also, you can enjoy the performances in National Theatre and kungfu show in Red Theatre. By the way, since you will stay for such a long time, you are suggested to join a tour to visit other places in China.
