Hi, I will be in Shanghai late Dec/early January. Can you suggest the best area in Shanghai to stay for tourists and also some very nice hotels in that area.

Plan on doing a little sightseeing and a little shopping etc. During my stay, I will need to do a short business trip to Jinhua (may stay overnight there if the travel time is to long to return to SH in the same day). Thanks

I think the Nanjing Road area is the best place for staying and wandering around.
Ssaw Hotel SH at No. 839, Renmin Road is suggested for you.
