Can i apply resident permit together

my wife have s1 type .she comes to china 8 september...and she applies her resident permit ....i know when she apply resident permit she need to my passport with resident permit....but i also need to apply my resident permit ....Q: can my wife apply her resident permit with me ???can we apply together??
