Upon getting there, you can take subway line S2 to South Railway Station, then change to line 3 to Main Railway Station. Get out from exit 7 and you can walk for 5min to the Long-distance Bus Station. Direct buses to Lianyungang are available from 6:20 to 18:30. It takes 4h and costs CNY118/148. The buses will arrive in Lianyungang South Bus Station in Xinpu District. Then you can take a taxi to reach your destination at a cost of CNY30 or so.1

Sorry, I meant S1 not S2. The first train of the line leaves from Lukou Airport at 7:14am, and the first schedule on line 3 is 6:19am. Hope you can catch it.0
