About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am going to attend a funeral in shanghai and will say for 3 days. Do I need a visa?

Sam, you don't need it if you fly to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai. But if you travel like Australia-Shanghai-Australia, you need to apply for one beforehand.
