Uzbekistan pasport

Transit CAN 3 hours then PEK 4 hours (less than 24 hours in China) arriving from New Zealand , transiting on to Uzbekistan.

Peter, you don’t need it for that because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in China if you travel like that. Nice trip!

For your information, travellers now need a Chinese entry permit if CAN is part of the itinerary and other Chinese cities are being visited.
AKL/CAN/TAS OK
AKL/CAN/PEK/TAS entry permit now required.
Result of being denied boarding: NZ$3500 for a new ticket via Korea. Ticket AKL/CAN/PEK/TAS non refundable & not covered by insurance :-(

If you travel like AKL-CAN&PEK(less than 24 hours)-TAS under New Zealand passport, you will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou and Beijing each time. No transit visa will be required then.
