About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do Malaysian need Visa fly from HongKong and transit at Beijing by different airlines?

For a Malaysian who's taking flight from Hong Kong to Beijing (Hong Kong Airlines), 16 hours free and transit the next flight at Beijing to Seattle (Hainan Airlines).

Yes, Hannah, you need it because you cannot enjoy free transit in mainland China.
