About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Flight from Singapore to chengdu, transit for 17 hours and go to Seoul the next morning

I am a Malaysian. Am qualify for 24hr free transit. Can I leave the airport to go sightseeing and stay in the hotel overnight?

Hi, i'm afraid you won't qualify for 24hr free transit. You need to apply for a visa for that beforehand.

No. As I know, Malaysia passport holders cannot enjoy the 24 hr direct transit in mainland China.
