About:China Work Visa

work Z type and native language

I was told today to work in china as a teacher, you have to be a native english speaker, i do not really understand the necessity of this, i will not teach english there anyway, does this native english speaker policy still hold?

Wen, if you don't work in China as a English teacher, you don't need to be a native English speaker then.
