business m type extend

Question

In october 2016 I got a one year China business M. Now I would like to extend my M type with three months until February 2018. Would this be possible at the PSB in Shanghai?Also I read that; to apply for this M type I need an government approved invitation letter. I got a letter from the company I work at but am not sure it is government approved. can you tell me more about this?

Tim, it's possible for you to do that at the PSB in Shanghai. As I know, the letter from the company is enough for the extension. But if you doubt, you can call the local PSB to inquire about this.
