About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

what is the minimum time in China for the 72 hour free transit?

If one has a long layover eg. 12 hours or less, can one use the 72 hour free transit for a tour?

Andrew, as I know, there is no limit about this. If you can catch your leaving flight in time, you can leave the airport to take a tour. If your layover time is 12 hours or less, you are advised to use the 24 hour direct transit for a tour.
