About:Ningbo Transportation

We plan to go to Putuoshan.

But our flight landed at Ningbo Lishe Airport around 5.30 pm in the evening. Please advise where to stay a night before we head to Putuoshan the next day? And the estimated traveling time and cost from airport to recommended hotel and the hotel to Putuoshan?

You are advised to stay at a hotel near the airport. Airport Xiangyue Hotel located inside the airport may be a nice choice for you.
There is a long distance bus from the airport to Zhujiajian Port directly. You can take the first one on next morning, which departs at 09:45. The ticket fare is CNY60/person. Then you can transfer a ferry to the destination.

According to your timing, it may not be possible to get there on the same day. I suggest you stay in downtown for a night. Take shuttle bus to Jiangdong Xingning Road, then take a taxi to local North Bus Station. Check in a hotel nearby. In the next morning, take the first bus at 06:05 to Shenjiamen Putuo. Upon getting off, walk to Banshengdong Dock within 5min and take a boat to Putuoshan.
