how long does it take to get to the simitai section of the wall from beijing?

I am staying at the Swissotel and would like to take public transportation to get to the section of the wall. How long will this take? Is this advisable for someone who doesn't speak Chinese and knows nothing about the city?

Hi, you could take a taxi or walk 1.9km to Dongzhimen Transportation Hub and take bus no.980/980 fast to Miyun Xidaqiao Station. Then walk for 110m to Miyun Xidaqiao Gas Station to take bus no.Mi 51 and get off at Gubei Watertown (Simatai Great Wall) Station.You should book ticket online in advance on the website of Gubei Watertown.
