About:China Transit Visa

Transit Via Shanghai Pudong Airport

I am flying to India from USA and I have one halts in China at Shanghai Pudong Airport for 19 Hrs ..). I am an Indian citizen holding Indian Passport ..Do I need Transit G type ?

Please let me know it's Urgent,your help is very much appreciated

Deep, you will be able to enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in there. No transit G type will be needed for that.

Thanks Rock ...also will I be allowed to go out of the airport or do I need to stay within Airport ?

You are allowed to go out of the airport, but you need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport, then you can leave there to explore the city.
