About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I have a student X type. I hold 2 passports, because of dual nationality.

the passport that holds My current X type will expire soon. Could i extend My visa in My other passport on My next appointment to the office?

If you mean you will apply for a new student X type in your home country, then it is ok for you to use the other passport.

No. I mean that on My next trip to the visa office, here in china, i would like to use my other passport. It has a longer validity period. My current one will expire soon. My Question is whether this is acceptable, as i hold dual nationality. the passports differ in nationality.

I'm afraid you cannot do that. You are advised to use the other passport to apply for a visa in your home country.
