baggage for international to international flights in beijing

Question

Hello, I am traveling from Bangkok to PEK on Air China, then a Delta International flight to US.  What is the process with baggage since Air China and Delta are not partners?

Don't worry! You don't need reclaim your baggage although the airlines are not partners. Just present your baggage tag receipt at the transfer desk and the boarding pass for the onward flight. They may help to handle your luggage.
