About:Zhongshan Transportation

In a few weeks we will have to take the ferry from ZhongShan to Hong Kong Airport.

We will not have a departing flight that same day, but two days later.
How does it work? Do we have to go through passport control because we arrive in Hong Kong or it passport control in ZS port?

I am afraid that you cannot take a ferry to HKIA since your departing flight is not on the same day. If you have to go to HKIA 2 days before your flight, you can take a direct shuttle bus. You may walk about 200 meters to Municipal Bureau of Maritime Affairs Bus Stop and take bus no.001 to Fengming Road Bus Stop. Upon arrival, you may walk about 450 meters to Fuhua Hotel. Then you may take a direct coach to the airport. This coach works from 07:00 to 20:00 with the interval of about 1 hour. The ticket fare is HK$250/person.

Thank you Rose. But we do not need to go to HKIA. After ZhongShan we are staying two days in HK centre. What is the best way to travel from ZhongShan to HK centre? Is there another ferry we can take?
