About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I want to know whether I qualify for the 72-hour visa free transit. Here are my trip schedules.

Trip 1- I'm flying to Guangzhou(arrival time is Sept. 30, 11:30) from Inchon then fly to Paris(departure time is Oct. 2, 15:25) where it is my final destination. This will make me stay in Guangzhou for about 52 hours. Also on the way to Paris, the flight will make a stopover in Saudi Arabia for 6hours, which I have to stay at the airport waiting for my next flight headed to Paris.
Trip 2- I'm flying to Guangzhou(arrival time is Oct. 7, 13:30) then fly to Inchon(departure time is Oct. 8, 12:40). This will make me stay in Guangzhou less than 24 hours.
Question- Do I qualify for the 72-hour free transit in the case of both Trip 1 and Trip 2?

Yes. The 72 hr rule is consecutive days. You will be fine without a Chinese Visa for your 2 seperate stops. I would check into Saudi Arabia's visa rules.
