About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hello, I am an Indian Passport Holder transiting in Shanghai for about 24 hours

coming in from the US travelling to Delhi. Do I need to apply for any type of Visa for the same? Thanks.
Also we would like to go out of Shanghai airport to explore the city for a day. Thanks

Aisha, you don’t need a transit G type. You can use the 24 hour direct transit. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can go to the city for a visit.
