Is it possible to Extend 'L' type tourist visa ?

I had received my L type few days back and the duration of stay is 15 Days, Single entry.

Please advise if it is possible to extend the L type once arrived in China.
What are the procedures and documents required ?
How much does it cost and which department should I visit ?

It’s possible. You should apply for the extension 7 days prior to its expiry date. It costs CNY168 per person.
You need to provide passport, valid registration form of temporary residence, the application form, a bareheaded color photo, the return ticket and hotel reservation. Next, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.
