About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

if I come into Shanghi by cruise ship and leave within 72 hours, can I use the free 72 hour transit

If you travel like country A-Shanghai (144 hours)-country B, you can utilize the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
