About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Have visa but want to use 72 hour free transit

I have a entry permit for China but would like to try to use a 72 hour free transit. I was planning to go for a week but plans have changed.
I am going from LAX to Changsha to Bangkok.

Hi, if you travel like LAX-Changsha(72 hr)-Bangkok, you can use the free transit in there. You should inform the airlines that you want to use the free transit in Changsha before you board the plane in LAX. After arriving at CS airport, you can go to the transit counter to apply for the free transit. Your visa won't be used then.
