About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US Green Card holder (with Indian Passport) Transiting via Shanghai Airport

We are family of 3 people, living in USA as Permanent Residents (Green Card), planning to travel from JFK to DELHI via Shanghai.

I just wanted to know if we need any visa to transit as there is a 9:30 hrs layover in Shanghai airport.

Please advise..
Thanks
Hari

Indian passport holders flying JFK-SHA-DEL can have 24 hours direct transit in Shanghai. Your permanent residency and green card are irrelevant.
