Do i need transit G type for 20hr layover?

I am a Cambodian planned to travel from New Zealand to Cambodia back and forth via Guangzhou airport. The layover is 20hr. Do i need transit G type?

Narong, you can use 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou in both directions. No need to apply for a transit G type for that.
