long transitchecked luggage

Hi there, I am flying Helsinki-PVG-Auckland with Finnair and Air New Zealand with the flights on the same ticket (ticketed by Finnair). Do I need to claim and re-check my luggage, or do they go straight through to NZ? Also we have 7hrs between flights and traveling with a 4yr old, any tips for things to do at the airport! Thanks!

Yes, you need to recheck it.You are suggested to go to Disney. You can take the Maglev to Longyang Rd, then walk south for about 100 yards, transfer to metro line 16 at Longyang Rd, then transfer to line 11 at Luoshan Rd, get off at Disney. It will take you 1 h to get there.
