About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Will this work for 72hr free transit?

HKG-PVG (Monday) - Use 72 hour Free Transit to take kids to Disney on Tuesday & sightseeing in Shanghai on Wednesday
PVG-TYO (Thursday)
TYO-PVG (Following Thursday) - Use single entry visa
PVG-PEK (Friday via G train)
PEK-USA (Monday)

Chadd, it is ok for you to travel like that. You can use the 144 hour free transit for your first entry to Shanghai from Hong Kong.
