Would like to ask how much time is needed to travel from Kunming city to the forest area, visiting the place and coming back to the city  ? Thanks in advance.

The bullet train between Kunming South Station and Shilin west takes 20 minutes. As what other visitors said, it may take at least 2 h to enjoy the forest.
