About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Singapore to Beijing (PEK) - then to Irkutsk (Russia) - Luggages to claim?

Hi, i will be travelling from Singapore to PEK, layover for around 11 hours in Airport. Then travel to Irkutsk. The flights are with 2 different airlines (As these are 2 separate flights that i have booked), will i need to reclaim luggage, go through immigration and check-in again with luggages when i arrive at the capital airport.

Well, as I know, you don’t need to recheck your luggage. However, the processes of Border Inspection, Security Check, Custom Inspection are necessary.

Thanks Tom, for your quick reply. As we will likely be arriving into BJ slightly after lunch at 2.30pm, and the next flight out will be at 5am the next morning. And the flights are both not connected flights. As in the flights are booked separately through different Airline companies. Hence i need to check if i need to check out through immigration upon arrival and then recheck all the baggages again at 3am for the next flight.
