About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

apply for replacement of HKSAR passport in USA

How and where can I apply for the replacement? How long the time will be take and how much should I pay for the replacement?

First, you need to make an online appointment for the application.
Then, you can prepare all required documents to submit them to the embassy or the consulate where you resides.
You need to pay USD67 to HKSAR government for 32-page passport and USD15 to the embassy of China as communication fee. Usually, it takes about two months to process the application.
