Arriving in Shanghai on a cruise ship, how do I get a 72 hr transit visa

We fly to start our cruise in Tokyo which ends 12 days later in Shanghai, we then have a 2 night hotel stay with an organised tour included before flying back to U.K. How do we get the 72hr free transit. Thank you. Anne
