Riane, you qualify for 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, no transit G type is required for that.

Hi Louis,Thanks for your advise. My concern is that I do not hold a US passport so I'm worried there'll be complications at the transit with my green card not being recognised. I do however have an EU passport with me should I need but worry that if my plane ticket is purchased on the green card for my US-entry, it won't match at transit immigration to show my EU passport. Would you know if that'd be a problem ?
