hi. transit visa for indonesia?

HiI am Indonesian and will be flying to JFK-NYC by China Southern with 10 hours stop over in Guangzhou.if I want to sight seeing in Guangzhou before departure to JFK, do I need transit visa?Thanks.

Hi, Vidi. You don't need the transit visa, because you can qualify 24-hour visa free policy. If you want to go out of the airport for sightseeing, you may head for immigration counter to apply for a free stay permit when you arrive at the airport.
