Well, there are several sightseeing buses in Shanghai, and you can take these bus lines to visit most attractions during your 10h layover. There are two kinds of ticket for these bus routes: 24-hour ticket and 48-hour ticket. Both of these tickets are available for several specific bus lines.
You can take them to visit the Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian, Yu Garden, Jing’an Temple, Shanghai Museum, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, China Art Museum and so on during your layover.
From the airport, you can take metro line 2 to People’s Square Station, Exit 2 directly. Upon arrival, you may walk about 200 meters to the entrance of Urban Planning Exhibition Center, where you can catch the sightseeing bus.
