About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australian arriving by cruise ship in Shanghai

Hi, do we need 144hr free transit as we are arriving in Shanghai on a cruise ship, departing ship and going straight to airport for departure back to Australia?

Hi, if the last country you come from before entering Shanghai is not Australia, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai then. No visa is required. Have a nice trip!
