About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA in Guangzhou

I have just been refused a Visa on Arrival for an urgent business trip.

I received a properly completed invitation from the Chinese Sponsoring Company with two of the valid reasons in this document but was refused without a reason being given.

Other airport staff commented that it was virtually impossible to obtain a VOA in Guangzhou

Lufty, I'm afraid it's rather difficult for you to get Guangzhou VOA for that.

For VOAs to be approved, authorities at the arrival airport must give the go-ahead and the company must dispatch a representative. If these conditions are not met then you'll have no chance to get the VOA.
