About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I was born in Hong Kong but am an American Citizen

Hi, I was born in Hong Kong to US parents. I am planning a tourist trip to China in October and while looking at the visa application saw that if I was born in Hong Kong I am required to enter my full Chinese name in Chinese characters. I do not have a Chinese name, I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to enter N/A and have my application rejected. Thanks for any tips!

Erinn, maybe you can try to contact with the Chinese embassy to inquire about this. TEL: (202) 337-1956; E-mail: visa_usmfa.gov.cn
