About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

visa required at Capital Airport

I am Malaysian , taking Air China transit Beijing to Hokkaido. My questions
1) is that I need visa (stopover 1h 40m at terminal 3) from flight AC970(SIN-PEK) TO flight AC169(PEK-CTS).
2) Stopover 1h 40m sufficient time for me to transit (same terminal 3)?

No visa is needed for your case. And your time is enough, and the MCT is actually an hour. Don't worry!
