You don’t need a visa to when you arrive Shanghai, because you can apply for the 144-hour free service when you arrive with the ship in Shanghai. Generally, the international cruise will stop at Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal or WuSongKou International Cruise Terminal. Both of these terminals have the special channels for applying 144-hour service. Besides, you need to prepared your passport, departing ticket and the immigration card for inspection.
