Requirements to visit mainland China

Hello. I would like to know the requirements when applyingfor a visa to China.
I am apermanent resident in Japan. And I am currently living in Nagoya I want to Shanghai at
Beijing. As a Filipino national, may I know wha are the documents needed to get a visa....I hoe you can help me.
