Requirements to visit mainland China

Hello. I would like to know the requirements when applyingfor a visa to China.
I am apermanent resident in Japan. And I am currently living in Nagoya I want to Shanghai at
Beijing. As a Filipino national, may I know wha are the documents needed to get a visa....I hoe you can help me.

Darlene, if you go to China for sightseeing purpose, you need to provide passport and its photocopy, the application form, a passport-style photo, residence permit in Japan, proof of financial support, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation.
