About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can 72hr free transit apply to Shanghai entry at Pudong International Airport

with same day departure for cruise sailing to southeast Asia countries but ended in Hong Kong? Do I need to apply the 72 hours in advance or it can be done at the airport when arrived?

D. Lee, if you travel like USA-Shanghai (24 hours)-Southeast Asia countries, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit policy in Shanghai.
