About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

NON US CITIZEN in NEW YORK

I'm Indonesian and currently in New York visiting my friends with B1/B2 VISA. I would like to apply TOURIST ( L ) type to China. Can i apply it at China Embassy Office in New York? Is it applicable? I was in China studying for 4 years, I had my Fiancee in Hangzhou and I decided after my holidays in here, i would like just go back to China visit my Fiancee directly.
I have my stamps from immigration for temporarily visitor and legit stay until december 2017.

Hi, you can make the application from the consulate in New York.

Do you think i could get 90days duration of stay? Since iwould want to stay longer than 30days, what should i fill the application form? I would like multiple entries with 60/90days duration stay of each entry if it is applicable. I have the invitation letter and all information about the inviter.
