Hi! I have a connecting flight in Shanghai. The layover time is not more than 24 hours.

I am a Filipino having a passport issued in the Philippines. I need to connect in Shanghai for my flight to Auckland. Do i still need to apply for a transit visa?

Thank you so much!

Adriane, no, you don’t need a transit G type for that because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
