About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Business stop in GZ

I just want to verify that this itinerary qualifies for the visa-free transit to Guangzhou for a couple days before flying to Venice. The "region" qualifier is a little unclear.

Frankfurt Germany -> Guangzhou -> Venice Italy
