I think the indian passport holder can enjoy a 14 days visa free policy in HK. You may need to offer some tickets which can proof that you will leave within 14 days for this policy. To return to the mainland, you need to make sure you still have one entry visa to the mainland when you back. There is no bullet ride, but a 24-hours overnight ride. It runs every other day. For the luggage, you can take 20kg with you based on the policy.
