In my 2-week tour in China I am planning what follows. Could you comment and give some advice?Tuesday Sep 9th - Arrive at Huangshan airport from Xi'an at 3:40 pm.Travel directly to Xidi, by taxi I am afraid (the last bus from Tunxi town seems to be at 4)Visit Hongcun on the same evening and overnight thereWednesday - bus in the early morning for the mountain. Leave the luggage in the transit centers and walk up.Thursday afternoon - cable car down (I am afraid for my knees in walking down) to take the last bus at 5 pm for Hangzhou from the Scenic View stop.Thanks a lot.

Thank you!I still have some doubts:1) Visit both villages in one evening or leave one for the morning after (and go to the mountain later)?2) Do you know the bus hours from Hongcun to the mountain? I just found two FROM the mountain3) Under the mountain, do buses from Hongcun and to Hangzhou stop at the same place? (Tangkou, I suppose)

However, you need to pay attention to the bus schedule to the mountain. 2. I have found there are two buses one day, which depart at 06:50 and 09:50. You can confirm this information when you arrive in Hongcun. Besides, if you miss the public bus, you can also share a car with others. It will take around CNY30/person.3. As I know, they are both at the Xinguoxian Transfer Center, Tangkou.
