About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

My visa is going to expired on Jan.8, 2018. I plan to go back Beijing on August

and stay with my family until end of march, 2018. May I apply the 10 years multiple-entry new visa right now?

Yes, Jia, you can do it. But once you get the 10-year visa to visit China, the current one will be voided automatically.
