About:Lantau Island

Hi.. Is Ngong Ping Village and Tian Tan Buddha still open after Jan 8, 2017?

can we still visit it by taking bus instead of cable car?

The Buddha is still opened after Jan 8. If you don't want to take the cable car, you can catch bus no. 23 from Tung Chung Town Center to Ngong Ping and start your visit there. The bus fare is HKD17.2.
