About:China Work Visa

Is Z visa considered as a permanent residence visa?

I just got my Z visa 2months ago and did all the necessary formalities required after entering China-from checking in with the police station to health certification- and obtained a residence permit. My question is if i can really call that a permanent residence visa or is a permanent residence visa completely different?

Farhan, your Chinese residence permit allows you to stay in China for a certain time instead of forever. It is not the permanent residence permit.

It is only a China work visa, which is normally valid for 1 year.
China permanent visa is 10-year valid, which is renewable.
