About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I live in Florida n my sister lives in Iowa.I see FL residents have to go to Houston to get the Visa

Can I get both of our visas in Houston? We plan to travel separately in the U.S. to, say Seattle, Chicago, or wherever and then board the international flight together.

Hi, you can get the visa in Houston, but your sister needs to make the application from Chinese embassy in USA.

Will they at least mail it back to me or do I need to wait it out in a hotel in Houston for 4 days?
